Its a very proud moment for us at MBTA as Jeeva B has won the Boys U-8 event and Durga finished runner-up of the Girls U-8 event at the TTC Mini Open Tennis held in Trivandrum, both students of our Kerala SMILE Project. 25 students from the Kerala SMILE Project were selected by our coaches to participate in this tournament in the U-10 and U-8 categories. In fact, 15 of them played their first tournament and we have had some great results from this tournament. 5 students made it to the Quarter-Finals of the tournament, 1 to the Semi-Finals and 2 to the Finals.
